63.1 Conviction
Building Conviction Historically Positive Cohort Past the Historical Entry Window

Regulus does more than surface a reported trade. It measures the surrounding evidence, identifies historically comparable signal states, estimates where the signal sits in its observed lifecycle, and reports the range of benchmark-relative outcomes seen in prior comparable situations.

What Regulus evaluates

Evidence strength

Whether a political-trading pattern is reinforced by insiders, lobbying, contracts, or other independent evidence.

Historical timing

When comparable signal states historically tended to outperform, fade, or become too mature for a new research entry.

Outcome distributions

Median benchmark-relative returns, outcome ranges, outperformance rates, sample sizes, and confidence labels.

Research discipline

Built to reduce hindsight bias

Historical research is reconstructed using point-in-time evidence controls. Supporting data is audited against the date on which it would have been available rather than simply using what is known today.

  • Benchmark-relative alpha research
  • Point-in-time evidence auditing
  • Distinct-signal sample counts
  • Historical opportunity windows
  • Outcome ranges rather than single forecasts
  • Daily archived research snapshots

The full research platform is in active private beta development.

Regulus is preparing a private beta featuring daily conviction briefings, signal-detail research, historical trade profiles, monitoring lists, and archived signal histories.
